We are still here.

Well, it's been almost a month since my last post. Our computer broke down and we were without internet for a little while. I will try to recap the highlights (and lowlights) of the last couple of weeks.

Memorial Day Weekend was spent at the campground (Greenville Farm Family Campground in Haymarket, Virginia). We were supposed to go up to the Niagara Falls, but after talking with a few oldtimers around the campground we decided to stay put and avoid the traffic. We took the kids to the pool, rode our bikes, and just basically relaxed.

The campground in Haymarket is a real working farm. It was kind of cool to see the cows everyday as we went in and out of the campground. They had a couple of ponds, and the boys decided to give fishing a try. Well, they didn't catch anything, but Carlos really enjoyed it and wants to go fishing more often. Migue got a bit angry when he figured out that we did not put a hook and/or bait in his, so it was downhill from there. They had a nice playground and a huge wooded property. We went for a walk around the woods a few times. The only problem with this campground was that it took Daddy about an hour to get to work. We stayed here for a couple of weeks.

The following weekend we went to Paramount Kings Dominion Campground outside of Richmond, VA. We met down there with Abu and Alex, and our nieces Isabel and Natalia who were visiting from Puerto Rico. They stayed with us in the RV (yes, we were able to accommodate four overnight guests), and we went to the park Saturday and Sunday. The park also had a water park inside. The kids had a blast riding every roller coaster a few times since the it was not that full. Even I (Mommy) joined in the fun and went in a couple of rides. By Sunday afternoon we were all exhausted, but Carlos and Isabel wanted to stay a bit longer and ride ALL the rides. Alex stayed with them and we headed back to the RV to get dinner ready. When they returned, Alex crawled up the RV steps and plopped himself on the couch. He had no idea what he had signed up for.

After a fun weekend, we returned to the DC area. This time we went back to Bull Run Park, the first park we stayed at back in February.
