Life in the RV

So, you must wonder what do we do in between all the fun outings? We live a pretty normal life in the RV. During the week daddy goes to work, and the kids and I stay home. We homeschool, watch TV, do a bit of chores (there are not too many to do), walk around the campground, ride bikes, etc...

The kids (and mom) really enjoy having the outdoor entertainment center. When the weather is nice the boys play outside and watch some TV out there while mom gets dinner going or uses the computer inside. It is almost like having an extra room!
When daddy gets home we have dinner and then we either hang out, play outside, or go out.

The main difference for us is being with daddy every evening. It is great!

Also, since we do not have any outside distractions (clubs, classes, etc...) we get to spend a lot of time together.

And, another difference is that we never know what our yard will look like that week! It may be sometimes a lake, sometimes a gravel parking lot, and sometimes a wooded lot. It is fun to go around and discover all the new places and towns. We are currently staying in a town called Haymarket, and the other evening we found a little ice cream place with outdoor tables, and had a great time there.

We have a toy box for Migue with a few toys, and he plays with those every day. He is building pretty tall towers with his blocks now. As you can see from the picture, his favorite spot to watch TV is the floor.

It is quite comfortable in here, and we really have everything we need. It does feel like home.

We have also met some wonderful people in the campgrounds. They are mostly retired couples, and they usually enjoy having the kids around for a few days. Everyone has been really nice.
