Houston, TX

On Wednesday, August 30, 2006 we left New Orleans. We decided to head West, and enjoy a couple of weeks of vacation while daddy was in between clients. We were hoping that the next job would be somewhere in the West, either California or Seattle. The plan was to visit Big Bend National Park and The Grand Canyon National Park, and discover some cool places in between.

We drove towards Houston and spent a night there. The next morning, we were going to drive to San Antonio, but we had not even driven for an hour when we spotted an Outdoor World store and just HAD to stop. We needed some gear for our Big Bend adventure, and went shopping. This place turned out to be on an awesome outlet mall, so a little shopping turned into a day of fun.

Four hours later, and a much lighter wallet, we got on the road again.
