Hoover Dam and Lake Mead

We drove through the Hoover Dam, which separates the states of Arizona and Nevada, and stayed at Lake Mead for a couple of days. We needed some time to just rest, and take care of a few things, like getting a new tire for the car. We were hoping to rent a boat for a day, but the weather did not cooperate. It was so windy that the marina was not renting anything. We took the kids to play at the beach for a few hours, and just enjoyed the beauty around us.
